So finnally decided to do my first write up here! No where near my first detail but im still quite the n00b. But let me know what you think....:thumb:

The camera is a Cannon EOS Rebel T21, its my brothers camera and i only know the name of it lol, was on full auto mode the whole time...I think....

    2010 Ford Expedition(brand new!!!)

Client dropped the truck off before I could get home and by the time I did get home, it was already dark (offically started @ 9:15pm), so I got to wash in the dark yay! Nothing fancy just dawn dish soap nice and suddsy.

After bringing it inside under the lights I could tell this was going to be far from the easy job I assumed it would be. I started with Adam's fine clay using Opti no rinse dilouted for lube. For a BRAND NEW SUV I was very surprised how much I picked up off of this thing.

    Rear hatch.

    Passenger rear quater.

    Driver rear quarter.

Then I did a half ass tape job!! :shakehead: I was tired!

Then to the fun part, I just picked my new FLEX L3403 VRG Lightweight this week and was dying to try it out. Did one pass with M105 on a 5.5 LC ccs orange pad, seemed to do the trick so I used that for the entire car.

    Some crappy 50/50s

    After m105

Pulled it part way outside, to wash with dawn / ipa to remove all that stubborn 105 dust EVERYWHERE.

Dried and inspection time under my brickman dual true led
    [IMG]

Looked pretty good but really needed refining, so I grabbed the G110v2, an uber blue, and Menz Final Finish. (first time using this combo, I'm a m205 guy)

I LOVE THIS STUFF:headbang:, will probally be buying more once my m205 runs out.

    No swirls here!

Reflections were deep and crystal clear so I was happy.....

Looking good but still a bit to go. Followed up with PBW's Black Hole glaze.
:headbang: Check out the shirt :headbang:
Came out amazing as always, by far my favorite glaze for dark cars.

After letting the glaze cure for about 20 min I threw on some Menz powerlock, let dry then wiped off to cure overnight, tommorow I will top with a coat of Colli 845 and get some sunlight pictures!

    Menz PL drying......

    more exciting drying action!!!

A few finished shots(still gotta do windows and trim, but paint is done!)

Well she looks great so far, paint work is all done besides one more coat of wax tommorow... Then I still have to do the interior which isnt bad at all and it would be quite boring so I wont even add that in the write up!

    Nice job...

FYI: Coli 845 has quite a bit of solvent that will most likely remove other products under it
