1997 Mars red 911 detail

This car is a consignment. It was repainted at some point and this painter was also less than critical of what should leave the paint booth.

Single Stage paint that didn't look oxidized in the normal sense. Instead it looked like it had some white residue all over it. Definately looked dull though

I was asked if there was a way to get the paint shiny.


I devided the whole car in half by taping it in the middle for a change.

Process:

"Awesome" apc wipedown
HD UNO rotary on hood yellow lc pad 2100rpm
HD UNO flex 3401 yellow lc pad
HD UNO on UNO orange pad
HD UNO red ccs pad
HD UNO on 3" orange pad by hand & flex 3401
HD POXY gray 3M pad

You just made the consigner a good chunk of extra $. I like HD poxy also, and noticed you use it on many of your details. I actually bought it because of the pics I saw of the blue evo you did a while back.
