I have to toss this in, My wifes 2010 GMC Yukon SLT. Sold it after 9 monthes. Rack leaked like a stuck pig with in the first 3 monthes, Rear diff went out, all under warranty, oh yeah dash lights went out becuase of a failed BCM, all under 15k miles, only serviced by the dealer.......... honestly my 99 and 04 suburbans are better and more reliable. Ive had GM trucks most of my life, 8 to be exact and never had so many issues before until I bought the Yukon.

2010 Chrysler Sebring. Had one for 3 days as a rental when my car was in the shop.
Biggest POS I've ever driven, it actually broke down on me during my 3 days stint in it, and the front passenger power windows didn't work. The car had less than 5k miles on it.
Oh and the car squeaked like it's nobody's business, crappy handling, crappy acceleration, rock hard leather seats.

Fiero. I put 50K on a 2M4 over 4 years. Worst 4 years of car ownership of my life. Haven't owned a domestic since.

hmm...after some thinking I have a few that I could classify as pretty bad.

Buick Reatta. Advertised as a sports car, but when I drove one it reminded me of my grandma's Grand Marquis...which is a far cry from anything sporty. And the interior was this awful maroon color, so was the exterior, the engine is gutless and there's no feel from the steering or indeed, any of the controls.

Dodge Intrepid. My friend has one, and I will say it's a great car for a college student whose primary concerns aren't driving pleasure. But it's awful to drive. It's completely gutless, and even though it's huge inside it's not comfortable at all. And like most American cars of the time (2004) the build quality is horrendous...good thing the car won't go much past 85 MPH, because it would probably fall apart if it did. Not to mention my friend has had all sorts of transmission problems and electrical problems with it.

I might get flak for saying this but here goes: Ford Explorer. At least the last generation, I cannot speak for the newer ones. Once again, the build quality is horrible...I've driven a few of them and something is always broken. The steering is really heavy when you're trying to park it but really light once you get moving, the transmission is jerky and the engine, though not lacking in power, is unrefined and noisy. And the ride is crap, it seems to magnify every little bump you go over.

i had a late 80's honda accord, manual, for a few months when i first got my license. a guy i knew gave it to me. it had sat for so long that the brakes were rusted together, so i had to have him jump up and down on the back bumper while i worked first gear to break them free. then we found out the brakes didnt work very much at all, so i drove it home with basically no brakes, and relied on shifting to slow me down, and the ebrake at complete stops. needless to say, the car didnt last long.

My first car was a POS...88 Chevy Celebrity...2 door 4 cylinder. I couldn't kill it to save my life!

And the car that I just rented last week in St. Maarten. A Hyundai Atoz. It was tiny and filthy! Being a detailer and getting into a car that smelt bad and was just completely dirty was awful!

My dad has one. He drives it like an old man he's becoming, so nothing too major has gone wrong yet... It is a big boat, no feel, the 3.2 (?) V6 has no power, and the door seals...... they have shrunk so bad..... they are all falling off. They must have lost a good 5 inches each. I also have a friend who has one of the generation before my dad's, and he was having loads of transmission issues. Terrible car.

I had to drive a Ford Econoline 1980ish van for a paint company. I drifted easily a foot either way on the highway from the steering being so loose.

2008 Honda Accord. The brake pads last roughly 2k-10k miles tops. Crack, rattle, and pop sounds coming from everywhere. Replaced brake pads twice, radiator, power steering rack, and transmission all within 2 yrs. Newer cars are terribly underbuilt.

Which is sad because Honda has had a awesome record, Ive owned two accords 05 and 06 V6 and loved them for what they were.......... commuter cars, and never had an issue.

I would have to say a 93 geo metro 3 cylinder that my friend had and the same friend now has a new altima. That thing, no offense to anyone, is a POS. I can NOT stand that damn CVT bulls**t. If We are all hanging out and my car is blocked he says "take mine".....no I'm good thanks. LOL I hate driving that car, no man should drive a car like that. I am all about a manual, I dislike automatics for many reasons, but this is worse. It's like a f**king jetski, that's what it sounds like. Omg I hate it, lol sorry

haha true. Although my grandpa has a little Suzuki Sidekick...not very good to drive and a POS to boot but it's a fun little car to mess around with on his farm, especially in the summer with the roof off and all. And being a manual, my cousin and I go out and I give her lessons on it :) Family bonding time.

2010 Kia Rio honestly i don't know how people can settle for cars that are JUST A-B with no soul or purpose to them and it doesn't even get good fuel economy cause you have to drive it harder to make the damn thing go anywhere.

Back in the mid-eighties I test drove my sister's mid-70s Renault 5 (Le Car). Absolutely horrible, only interesting thing was the shifter sticking out of the dashboard. Wanted to see if I could lift it up at front left corner, picked it up by the fender and suddenly had the entire fender in my hand. It was completely rusted out and only the lovely orange paint must have held it together for a while.

I hate to keep posting here but I have the most unfortunate luck to always end up driving the worst cars. I guess part of it is I like driving other vehicles, no matter how horrible they actually are. I did find a new low though...1998 Ford Taurus. Slow, horrible jerky automatic transmission, bad brakes, terrible suspension, and not to mention this particular one is beginning to fall apart.
