Iron X: Soap or Spray

Which is actually the better buy? The soap seems like it would last longer as it's concentrated and can be spread easier, faster and cover a lot more area.

Thoughts please. And please don't tell me to buy both.

 

the soap gel is car shampoo + iron removing , but less strength than ironx power.
ironx is strong iron fillers remover , only meant for irons, break dust and carbons, wont clean other contaminants.

the SG is more for daily washes and maintenance... the ironx is for complete intense work.

I just picked up the IronX spray, and as soon as the weather allows me to do a full detail, I will post my findings.

 

Spray is more powerful and the one you want to use for cleaning wheels and heavily contaminated vehicles. The Soap Gel is a faster/easier solution and you will probably use less product per application.

 

Buy both!! Bwahhhhhhhhh. (I had to say that of course). Seriously, it depends on the job you want done. Got a nasty car with wicked rail dust? Use the spray. If your goal is that you want to maintain a car after having the contaminants removed, use the soap.

 

hey quick question about ironx. is it suppose to take place of claying when used on paint?

 

My understanding is it's pre-claying stage

 

IronX does not replace clay as it only attacks iron. It will not remove the variety of other bonded contaminants, that is where clay comes in.
