Broken pad Hexlogic 6.5"

hi guys

I have some question about my pads..

This pad is new, is a white pad hexlogic 6 ", I've used it 3 times in 3 cars.
And as you can see, it began to break.
My machine is a makita, use a plate of 5 "

I have doubts that it is normal, or am I doing something wrong, with 3M pads - Meguiar's - Lake Country I had not happened.

Spinning too hard but yeah I haven't actually had good experience with em
either on a pc

yeah and prob too much pressure and too much spin will rip it especially when its a protruded out unlike dimples where majority of the surface is 1 piece.

 

How do you clean it?

 

And don't forget, even detailing cannot defy the laws of physics!

 

water and shampoo pads cleaner !

 

anyone else have any suggestions?

 

Are you using a pad cleaning system or just washing it in a sink? Sometimes the cleaners catch the lip and tear it also using too stiff of a brush causes issues. And last but not least catching it on anything on the car can cause it to lift.
