It's so cold... [pics from this morning]

When I sat in my car to turn it on I noticed the foam in the seats was noticeably hard!

My windshield was cold last night - but frost still formed.
...And on the inside too!





My TPMS was going off!



Pixels in my MFD were sticking!



And the temp read this!

Additionally...

It's so cold everything in my car was rock hard - steering was 20% heavier, clutch, brakes, gas, suspension.

and it is so cold warming up my car for 15 minutes did nothing to get it warmer.

Were only -4 in Chicago. : still sucks

 

That would be miserable, my mom just sent me an email saying it was -18 back home. Obviously I don't plan on visiting any time soon.

I know how uncomfortable that could be but I really want to experience that type of weather.

 

i'm in Toronto Canada and even i heard about the extreme temps in Minnesota...

that converts to like -28 C which is FREAKING cold...and obviously that does not take into account the wind chill factor.

 

i know what that feels like. in ukraine those were normal temps for winter

 

Nice. We were getting -30C or colder here in Winnipeg in the last week and a bit. Nothing too crazy, happens every winter anyway.

The best days are still the -40 to -45C ones...LOL.

Dang, that's cold! It's like 4 degrees right now...that may not sound too cold to some of you all from up North but here in Kentucky that's FREEZING. Happy to report that my 38 year old Beetle still starts and runs fine in this weather

 

Wow and here I thought I had it bad, with -13F windchill. Actual temp is 5F atleast.

Good god, -20F actual temp must be so cold, I cannot even imagine. You are much more of a man than I. :worship2:

TPMS goes haywire when its cold so they usually dont install em in winter tires lol
