Im kind of shock that my sales manager would put me out there and not the other guys we have contract with. The customer came in and was concern about tree sap on his brand new Audi Q7. I was called over by my sales manager and explain to the customer what is on his paint. I saw tree sap and I explain to the customer what needs to be done. next thing I know the customer is sold and wants it done. I said to him $150 & up for the job and he agrees to it. That was easy
NICE! Good work pays off,and in turn that guy will tell another and so on. Hope this winter is busy for you.
Thanks!! Im a Audi tech in the dealership full time. detailing is my hobby and most my customers are my co-workers. It all started with my salesman asked me to do an interior detail on a Q7 cuz the customers were complain about the interior. n he'll cut me a check for the job. I steam the interior and the SUV got sold next day! I guess im making people happy =)
Thanks Richy I believe you done a few detail for dealerships where they cut you a check?? well im doing the same here, but its my first time. Im used to getting paid right away lol
yep these guys used gas power washers n our water to wash the lot. no soap!!! They also induce holograms, greasy interior, and very greasy tires. we had a lot of customers complain about their detail, so we stop using them. now im in the picture. its all good cuz Im getting what I like, or else my dealer can find another replacement.
So gas power washers are out of the question? I use mine to pre-rinse sometimes when my car is real dirty. Also what do you use to properly remove tree sap? thanks guys. Can't wait till spring to start detailing again.
these are the steps, from less aggressive to most agrgressive Stoner Tarminator fine clay mild clay polish compound wetsand
Nothing wrong with power washers - I'm saying the general process those 'detailers' use (see post #7) are the problem.
