Ok well here it goes lol I need some help as I'm going to be selling two of my waxes. I'm not sure where to sell either on this forum or ebay or both? I'm at a lose as to what would get more exposure so that I may have a better chance at selling. As I stated I'm just asking for opinions this is not a forsale thread when the time is right and I have decided where to sell than I will post forsale in the correct thread so please understand this thanks. Now the two waxes will be zymol and the three reasons well I can only say two at this time. One is I have two of each and only need one. Second I don't detail as much as I did before so they have to go lol. Now I'm not a big ebayer I just opened an account and listed small stuff to get started and get a feel. But I do know that this is a top forum and a lot will understand the value of the waxes maybe more than some on ebay but again not sure hence the reason I'm asking for your help and opinions. I really don't do much on the forums but read and search for information but thought this would be a good way to help me decide. Once I do figure out where to sell I will list my email and number to contact for any info. Etc.. I live in new York and new jersey and just about ready to buy property in Pennsylvania so if anyone buys from around those areas meeting would not be a problem. Other wise I will use paypal but it is going to be hard cause they charge so much for fees it is crazy. So besides finding where to sell these waxes I need to decide how to get payment besides of course cash lol . Will paypal be the best way to do this?. Well thanks in advance for your help I will check back as often as I can since I have a new business and new property I'm working on. Also I know everyone will ask so the waxes in question will be vintage and royale please don't ask prices etc. That is not what this thread is for that will come later thanks again.
Well, with ebay you are going to lose 10% for the listing and fees, then another 4% via paypal, and for those two waxes, you likely won't find too many buyers. IMO, you are better off posting on several forums. Actually, if you split up the stuff into sample sizes, you might even do better.
Well with ebay I was thinking same thing for fees but I thought would get a wider range of buyers. As for samples that would defeat the purpose of selling the whole tub with the free refills which I would assist the buyer with getting everything transferred to them.
Check with zymol if the tittle is transferable. They may not allow the item to be sold without a "set up fee" for the new person. this could affect your choices. if you do decide to split them up and sell samples please let me know. thank you
This is the one and only vintage and royale yes the pricey ones on zymol site the free refills for life ones lol. Yes they are transferable to new owner it is not a problem with zymol I will help with all the transffer. slang I see you have been here awhile so I'm sure you know what waxes they are since I stated in the thread the names lol. again not selling in this thread just looking for helpin finding where I should place forsale.
Looks to me know your just trying to beat the system by creating a thread about where to sell a product hoping people looking at the thread would be interested. :shrug: You have any seller feedback? However, I do remember there being a pretty hefty transfer fee. Something like $300-400 just to transfer the title.
Yes I was looking into the selling fees on db for a month of sales and is a good deal and no extra fees like ebay thanks for letting me know p1et but I have not decided where to sell yet and that is why I did not post in the forsale section yet until I decide than I will buy 1 month sales thanks again for info.. No not thing to build up people to buy the waxes will do that them selves just need some info. On what peoples opinions would be if they were to look for these . I know I would check ebay and db but hey that is just me hence the reason I asked for help and opinions not here to start a bunch of bull sorry lasthope05.
I was really trying to start anything but I seemed really fishy to me at first since you only had 2 posts on here and you were trying to sell some high priced waxes. But since you're legit, i guess its cool.
LOL yea I'm not here to cause problems I really don't post a lot just read and glance around for info. On products etc. So I can kinda under stand why people get a little up in the air since I ask about two of the higest price waxes lol. I really like this forum and thought I could get some good old fashion help and opinions to steer me in the right direction since I want to recoup as much as i can on these .
If it helps, I've had a good experience seling waxes among other detailing products to this community. Everyone here knows what they are getting, so they won't give you any crap about costs unfairly.
Thanks spec that is why choose to post this here hopeing to get the right opinions to help me decide where to sell them. I know they are going to be pricey even used but hey it will still be way cheaper than new and still get the refills for life. As for the transfer fees yes they do charge for the paper work and certificates to be redone but it is not that costly like it use to be a few years back. So anyway you cut it it will still be a super super deal lol.
did you decide what you gona do with waxes? also do you know how much it it to get title transfered to another person?
Yes I sold these waxes already on another forum shipped and transferred with no problems thanks for asking .
