Durability update further down Hi, Some weeks ago I did an enhancement my friends Seat Leon. I detailed it a year or so ago, and he's been maintaining it since. Very little wash marring had been induced during this time. The paint was just given a quick spruce up with Menzerna 85RE and a few places RD3.02. As the title reveals, the LSP was Power Lock applied with DA, after multiple IPA wipedowns. Second layer applied around 20 hours later, as it was getting a bit late. Me taping it up the second day, ready for the second layer: And just a few beading pics: And the Video: YouTube - Menzerna Power Lock Beading and Sheeting.mov Thoughts so far: Very easy to use, extremely little goes a long way and the surface is so smooth. Sheeting isn't super fast but it's constant. In terms of looks, it gives very sharp reflections and the gloss is very intense. Will be updating on durability later. Kind regards, Ebbe Jørgensen Update 20/11/2010: The owner of the Leon mailed me these photos, after driving a few hundred KMs last weekend. Please note that the car wasn't washed before the photos were taken. Vehicle has been washed once every week since the application on 1/8/10 with P21S/R222 Bodywork Conditioner. Kind regards, Ebbe
I too am hooked on powerlock.. so easy to apply and remove and not hard on the wallet.. a little goes a long way.. Thanks Ebbe for the original post and the follow-up !
