Off topic but is the L3403VRG comparable to the metabo?

Yeah Ive been comparing them and they seem close. Currious if anyone has a hands on comparison between them. Im going to need a rotary if I hang out here much more:eyebrow:

 

I too was looking at the Flex L3403VRG but I think your going to run in the same issues as the Metabo, it has a pad size limit and I'm "assuming" that if you use larger pads it will overheat just like the Metabo...I've never used the machine though so I'm just speaking out loud here I could be wrong about this machine and I'm still debating weather to get one or not...but I'm quite pleased with my Metabo and Makita...but if you do get one FMINUS I'd love to hear some feed back. Becuase if I'm wrong about the machine I'll definetly purchase one in a heart beat :cheerl:

 

Not a big fan of the Flex DA Phil? What are your issues with it? Just curious...

 

No problmes with it, I just really have no use for it since I get such great results with a Rotary!

L3403VRG ---- should be about $299.00 retail.

 

I have used both metabo and the flex. And I will say they are about the same. BUT, the flex have the speed dial at a MUTCH better place. Then again, flex starts at 1100 RPM.

 

Is the FLEX that much lighter?
