This is my first post as a Pro Supporter of this site so please forgive me if I miss a few things. My shop is located in Costa Mesa California and I am fortunate enough to get a lot of exotic cars to detail. This Lambo was brought to me in very poor condition. The front end of the car had been repainted and before the paint had enough time to cure someone set something on the hood. I needed to sand this imperfection out. Upon further analysis of the paint I decided to do a lite sanding of the whole car. The scratches and orange peel were just too bad. I removed the wheels to detail the wheel wells and the inside of the wheels. The wheels were also in poor condition with chrome peeling off the inside so I needed to be cautious when cleaning them. The engine compartment had been previously detailed and they used a harsh cleaner to clean the compartment, this turned the plastic green and left white drip marks behind. These are the steps I took for this detail. Please feel free to ask any questions as I am sure I am leaving a few things out. Nice job. Ive always loved the Gallardo. Rims came out looking great. Out of curiosity....how did the owner beat the sh*t out of this car??
This was one of the worst Lambos I have seen. I am not sure why it was so beat but when he picked this one up he dropped off another 2004 Gallardo for me to do. This one is yellow and has the same paint issue with someone setting something on the wet paint. I don't understand how people just don't cars. Oh well more business for me
