All of these products can really add up so I am wondering what are some GOOD products that you guys use that are a great buy for the price? Lets hear it.
The quality of Duragloss 901 and 501 exceed their modest prices and Optimum No Rinse's versatility makes it a great value
Meg's APC is a great buy. Relatively cheap, good dilution ratios, and can be used just about anywhere on the car.
LOL @ Vintage... I guess if you're still in diapers, Solaris was a good buy too at $30,000.00 a pot, refillable for life. :thumb:
lol at anything swissvax or zymol - dilusional people PB blackhole, vic red (really the only wax you'll ever need)
Here's my list: ONR 845 DG 253 DG 501 DG 105 Folex Zep Citrus Poliseal DG 901 Pumice Stone (pet hair removal)
My biased opinion? Meguiar's M105 Ultra Cut Compound. :headbang: Excellent cutting compound Outstanding polishing capability Ridiculously long working time (for some, not for others) Fantastic on plastics such as Plexiglas® and Lexan® The BEST aluminum and stainless steel polishing compound available Works equally well with rotary, random orbital, forced rotation orbital, or by hand Incredible performance with foam pads, wool pads, Surbuf pads
Love all the suggestions so far. I'll add that Megs Hyper Dressing is awesome bang for the buck. It does tires, weel wells, trim, high sine, low shine etc. $30 / gallon and it dilutes 3:1 for a nice lo gloss finish that's 4 gallons of spray dressing for $30!
M105 Menzerna 203 Majestic Solutions: Super Green, Tidal Wave, Poly Pro, Poly Plus, Wheel Brite, Showroom Shine DG car wash Automagic : Blue Clay, Bodyshine, Heavy Duty EZ clean, BFWD Stoners IG
I will add Menz PL to the list. New to the serious detailing game but love the finish and durability of this stuff. For polishing I went with menz SIP and a orange uber pad from dd. if you are a part time weekend warrior like myself I think it's the best bang for the buck if you are using a DA. ONR is also a great buy too.
ONR is by far the best bang for your buck considering how many different usages it has and the amount it produces.
Another vote for 845. A very surprisingly good product. I was almost going to make a thread about it but im sure people know very how just how great of a product it is. I'll just say that when i was stripping the car with Dawn, the soap was just gliding across the car. The car was soooo smooth and slick and i actually had to clay it after washing it twice! Very powerful stuff that 845 is and the sheeting is top notch along with the beading
