Albeit my dads friend, but its a start. I've finished up gathering items to my collections and as soon as Ricky clay goes on sale, I'll finish it off for now. Its a 2004 Corvette Z06, yellow. Anything I need to know? Looking at the paint with my Brinkmann yesterday it looks trashed, and I'll need to educate him on washing so it stays in the condition it leaves today. I'm looking at a one step correction with HD Uno (so far solid results with it), and that should tackle about 70-80% of the damage. Any tips, tricks or special how-tos? I'm thinking of documenting this one for a portfolio?
Same here, but I heard its reasonable and finishes quite nicely. I do have M105, but I really dont want to make this a 2 step, I guess I'll just see. Wish me luck!:mounty:
I did a yellow vette a month or two ago, it was a 2008. I felt like the paint did not cause any major headaches. I ended up just using Menz 106FA and a white polishing pad, it came out great. Not 100% correction, because the customer just wanted a basic polish. I'll PM you some more info on it. Congrats on the first customer- you have to start somewhere, right?!
