What to use to strip aquaple

    I think the aquapel website states that you need to use "bon aid" (I have never seen this product and I don't even know if I'm spelling it right). I think any good APC will do.

    Curious.... here in quebec we have bon ami aerosol glass cleaner!

    bon ami has been around over 60 years. originally a bar like soap but definitely a scouring powder. they must mean the new spray type. wal mart is probably the place to try or sometimes small local hardware stores have it. really a great old school product not as abrasive as most scouring powders.

    This thread is funny because many years ago I e-mailed Rain-X on how to strip the Rain-X coating off my windshield and they recommended the same product, Bon Ami (the powder cleanser).

    I think that a dedicated glass polish will also get the job done.
