I have a video that I would like to embed in a thread but, when I paste my code it simply comes out as text. Will someone who is well versed on this subject PM me and I will share the code with you in an effort for you to tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance! Jason

If you want e-mail me the video. At that point it will be way easier to deal with or perhaps try to get it up on youtube. What did you use to create that nice slide show though? It looks great man.
The Crazy thing is, I was able to post this video to Autopia but not anywhere else even using the same code… Thanks for the help man….. The Hi Res version is 30MB… I can’t give away all my secrets…lol Now why didn’t I think of that… Of course, photobucket is down for maint. right now – I just hope I don’t lose the Hi Res. Youtube takes high def videos now. I don't know what the max filesize is, but it will go through a conversion process that may remove some of the quality. It's hard to say.
Ya,losing any quality is not something I want to do.. I already posted the video on Autopia with no issues so I know it is an issue with code and not the video itself... Thanks
Autopia runs a newer version of vBulletin than all the other detailing boards right now, so chances are it supports types of embedding that DB, AGO, DC, DW, etc do not.
I just uploaded it to my Pro Photobucket account and tried using thier embed code and got the same thing Very frustrating!
Again, this embedded just fine on Autopia so I can only imagine it would be able to also be embedded here regardless of Autopia running a newer V bulletin version... Just need to find out how...
the board isn't properly parsing the embed code here. Go try over on AGO or DC or somewhere else, I bet you'll find the same results. (vBulletin version) DB, AGO, DC, DW use vBulletin v3, Autopia is using vBulletin 4. Big big difference. Where's the thread on autopia?
I agree they are different but, I would think that a simple tweak of a code would allow it to be embed.. I see others are able to embed from photobucket on here yet I am not able to... Looking at what you posted on Autopia, you didn't have to wrap it in vBulletin code like [video][/video] I'm gonna say that vBulletin 3 is not going to parse that embed code natively.
^^ True, therefore one would assume that using the same embedding code and adding the [video][/video] would allow it to be visible here and it is not I know this is possible here as others have done so with photobucket videos with no issue. It is not a question of IF it can be done but WHAT I am doing wrong....lol
