Don't get too excited, no correction work here, just some much needed TLC for this truck.

it's a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 with the Cummins engine and Laramie package.

Before I started detailing, I worked construction for three summers and spent many hours behind the wheel of one of these trucks, and it stole my heart. Anyways, I've got a soft spot for these, and this was pretty fun.

Just a good cleaning inside and out!

looks great man. Did you agitate the wheel brightener at all with a brush or did you just spray on and pressure wash off?

Also never seen a green folex bottle . . . . . the one we have here is purple. Makes me wonder if there is a difference between the two.

Truck came out fantastic though man.

    Thanks!

This green volex is all that i've seen around here, bought it from canadian tire. maybe it's the Canadian colour scheme? Folex is great stuff! as you can see in that picture, my mixture of spray 'n wash worked just as excellently on the coffee, too.

as expected, I had to flush a couple litres of hot water through that carpet to get all the coffee out, but it all came out!

The wheels got lots of agitation. I used the raceglaze brushes and then switched over to a toobrush on the second pass. I sprayed the wheels, let it sit while I worked on the tires, agitated, applied more WB, cleaned the wheel wells, more WB agitate again and then rinse off. Finally, I did a quick clean with zep citrus and then followed with the obvious foam cannon.

I kept applying the wheel brightener so frequently to get the dwell time a littler longer than about 30 seconds.....it was very hot today.

oh, I used wheel brightener on the step bars and bumper too, that's a great tip I picked up on this forum! works great at bringing shine back on chrome....well, basically getting the grime off! with minimal effort.

that's cool stuff man. I did wheels like that a while back and they came out looking similar. From black to bling bling LoL.

I sued some steel wool though and that cut down on the crazy amounts of time you can spend on those types of rims.

wish I could get it by the gallon. I've only seen the smaller jugs here. I paid $10 + tax for that little bottle.

great job! I did one of these for my neighbor, and man that thing was huge (also had a huge truck cap too).

    No reply from P1et? :(

durabio, sure was a big truck...with a lot of chrome!! the laramie package sure makes a difference. the leather seats feel much better than the usual GM and chrysler variety.

Mate, STELLAR work on this one! I know how much work goes into just mere UPKEEP of these, I cannot imagine letting my interior get to the BEFORE stage, and I'd be concerned about my ability to get it to your AFTER stage. Looks absolutely brand new!

I've got the Laramie package on mine as well, and the odometer is just at over 80K miles. I've been very happy with the truck so far, and only very minor issues have arisen over the past 6 years of ownership.

I've got washing/detailing these down to a science now. The paint quality is very good as well. I have non-metallic black, and last polished it probably a good four years ago. Still to this day, it's extremely presentable, even though it probably needs a PO85RD session.

    My hat off, great work!

Awesome work over all. What an amazing turn-around on those wheels and the filthy interior!
