First time doing my full interior and exterior package on a car, took me 2 days. Customer was ecstatic when she saw the transformation. Car has never been detailed before so I readied myself by getting some Clay Magic Red in advance, boy was I glad I did, made claying so much faster. Clay Magic Red removed all the contaminants with ease and also marred the crap out of the paint. Surprisingly there wasn`t that much contaminants on a car that has never been clayed. So using the least aggressive combo just to see what I could achieve, PO85RD and Uber Blue pad, I was amazed at the correction ability. Pulled the car into the sun to inspect for holograms and defects, I was very please!:applause2: LSP time, Swissvax Zuffenhausen More Sun shots after LSP removal Interior all tidied up as well I hope you guys enjoy reading!
Really excellent work! Mini's are deceptively tricky to work on I found, maybe I just underestimated it based on size, either way this one came out perfect in all areas. Keep it ip!
great work. turned out great, but why did you use red kinda and not blue or some other fine clay, thought red was medium grade for heavy contamination?
awesome job on that. its the best feeling when customers see their car and are completely shocked! makes me love what I do that much more.
I guess the name is a bit deceptive, there is a lot of plastic on the fender and lower half of the car so that made it a lot easier to work on. I used red because I knew the car had never been clayed so I figured it would get everything off much faster than had I used other clay. Since I was polishing it, the marring wouldn't be a problem. Took me around 6hours of polishing, some areas getting 2 hits. I can't ever thank you enough for helping me all the way answering my questions relating to detailing since I got started last summer. I was very impressed how much correction ability PO85RD and Uber Blue pad achieved with 1 hit. She was very surprised at the outcome of her car, she didn't even realize she had chrome exhausts tips! Now I gotta teach her how to properly wash it so all my hard work isn't undone in a matter of weeks.
wow, PO85rd and uber blue pad did that? pretty impressive. Most people will seems to start with something like Power Finish with Uber green, how did you come to mind to start with a light combo?
thanks everyone for all the kind comments! I was really glad the paint on the mini was very easy to work with, polishing with a blue pad and 85rd was like polishing with butter, it just glided over the car very easily.
