After a month wait I finally got my new LSP...:applause2::applause2:

First Impressions: Smells nice like Vanilla, but wasn't as strong as I was hoping. wax is nowhere near as soft as Insignis, nor as white. The wax has a very light brown color. Going to see if it earns its keep on Wednesday after I clay the car and hit it with some 106fa on a white pad.

Asphalt, thanks for the buzz kill. And I wish I knew you had a tub to sell, as I would have bought it.

Oh well, it is what it is. Plus you wouldn't have waited a month or paid for retail, sorry not trying to rub it in-lol.

  6. The only Mystery to me is that someone would spend $700 on an LSP. Oh well, hope you enjoy

$700 no thanks. I hope you enjoy your very very very expensive wax, maybe one day I can get some.

Why's everyone poo-pooing on your wax acquisition? I assume that's gotta be some badass stuff. I surprised myself when I bought $170 Zuffenhausen. Heck, if I could afford it, I'd get that crazy Crystal rock stuff:) Enjoy it!

I know what swissvax is, I don't mine having Swissvax Concorso. but not anytime soon, I just hope they don't do another price jump anytime soon.

Wow, I read that title wrong haha. I have yet to try Swissvax but I think that it should be a very nice wax assuming you can get past the sweating issue that has been mentioned!

Hm, and here I was thinking you'd all at least be happy for me lol...guess not

Everyone is of course entitled to their own opinion....This is what I like to spend the money I work for on, and I take pride in my car and my hobby.....errr border line obsession.

Anyway, just to add to what I wrote earlier- Opened up the container just now and was greeted by a delicious Vanilla smell, but unfortunately the wax smell is more pronounced than my Insignis. And yes Crystal Rock is on my radar, though not for a few months....call me crazy, I understand. :crasy::crasy::shead: I also know I have enough wax to last 10 left times and maybe somewhere down the road I may find the need/want to sell some, but right now I'm damn proud of my collection.

Here's a few more pictures as it gets cozy next to its new family.

    Jon,
I am jealous. I got bitten by the swissvax bug. On high end stuff it usually takes me a couple of weeks to find something wrong that makes me regret my purchase. After a couple of months, it still hasnt happened. I still love Swissvax. Its no nonsense. A product that does exactly what it is supposed to do, and whether its in your head or not it adds that little extra zing to the paint.
Its nice knowing that you really couldnt want for more.

Bottom line is, there are many products out there that are ridiculously expensive and not worth it. Swissvax is expensive but it does exactly what it is supposed to do and it KEEPS you happy. Sounds like a good buy to me.

Enjoy it. And I love the way all your LSP's are hiding the spice rack. "honey have you seen the Ginger"? Oh yeah its right behind the Fusion... Thats funny.

Jon, congratulations on the purchase! Don't worry about anyone raining on your parade, I'm a huge Swissvax fan and as a fellow Insignis owner, once you tried out a superwax, you know you made the right choice by spending a few extra dollars.

People seem to forget that with Swissvax, you use so very little, that when you look at the cost per application, even though the up front cost is high, it's really not that bad.

Either way, enjoy the new wax and I look forward to some pics in the near future.

Congrats on your purchase! I used to have Saphir and it was pretty nice. Unfortunately I had to trade it.

Nice, where did you pick it up from, right from SV? Did you get a price break from them?

Hope you enjoy it, CR is in my radar and hope by the end of the year I have it on my shelf...:)

Let us know how you like it.
