AG HD as others have said. I've been impressed with everything I've used it on. Another good combo that I like is 4* UPP(or UPGP) toped wth OCW.

Sonus Green is another super fine grade clay and much cheaper to boot than pinnacle's.

I have no experience with claying cars...is there a good kit to buy to help me learn? I might be allowed to clay my own car, but that's probably it. Anyway, looking around I've decided on Menzerna Power Lock as a sealant, now I just gotta poke around and see what wax we're gonna use. This would be applied by hand, so what sort of applicator pad would work best, and about how much should I order, assuming we do all 3 cars? Y'all have been a huge help so far, thanks!

You can pick up a clay kit at any auto store and it will have a fine to med grade clay and some qd to use at lube. Or you can just get a clay bar and use your fav qd or ONR as lube.

As for applicators you can use the cheap yellow foam ones or some of the red ones Phil has are nice. Just get them from same place you get your wax or sealant from. Only need two really, one for each product, as you can wash them out with some APC or Dawn.

OK...the only real clay kit I've seen for sale anywhere is the Meguiar's one...is it good to use?

And I've got a couple of those applicator pads laying around, so I'm good there.

The Megs kit is very mild. We used it on one side of my brothers GTI and had to hit it three times to get is as clean as the one side we used Clay Magic Blue on.

You can get a clay magic kit from PepBoys I think sells them.

autozone also sells it. (thats where i got my first clay kit)

and as for a wax. 845 looks great and last long and its very affordable, but isnt as fun to use (imo) as a paste wax. A good paste wax that isnt too expensive is lusso oro, it smells and looks great.

So...I think we've decided. Does Menzerna Power lock topped with P21s Concours Carnuba wax sound good? My dad has used Zymol Carbon Wax For Dark Cars before, but I wanted to try something new.
