So, I acquired another set of OEM 2003 Mustang Cobra Headlights. These ones came from a 10th Anniversary Cobra. They had some really weird sun damage from being cooked in the So Cal Sun... So i gave them a REALLY good Restoration. The ones took ALOT of time, I have a good 6 hours into them to remove all the defects. Also tried a few new products and liked the results. 3M Wet/Dry Sand Paper -600 Grit -800 Grit -1000 Grit -1500 Grit -2000 Grit -3M Rubbing Compound w/Hexlogic Orange -3M Machine Polish w/Hexlogic White -CG Rocket Polish w/Hexlogic Blue -Meguires #21 -CG Deep Reflections XP Before Both Sanded Halfway Done!!! AFTER
Actually, These lights are for a 99-04 Mustang.... I have a 1998 Mustang so these dont fit my car. I actually did these to make some extra cash and sold them on a Local Forum.... I wrapped them up to protect them from any damage that could occur before i sell them.... Cheap insurance. :whistle:
