Hello, I've used Einszett Cockpit Premium on the interior of my car before and liked it, but wonder if its worth getting Deep Cleaner as well? Is it pretty much the same thing as cockpit premium, but more concentrated? Thank You!
Deep plastic is stronger, has a foaming spray head, and does not leave any form of protection. Its a really great product. I wouldn't be without it.
I use optimum power clean on interiors, mixed at about 5:1. Or diluted more. I find it to work very well, and handle all the cleaning well. It can also be used on leather and carpets. I will wipedown with cockpit premium afterwards for UV protection.
How would you compare it to the OPC? Never tried it before, so interested on it's advantages over Optimum Power Clean.
This is a question we get asked quite often. Plastic Deep Cleaner is a straight (strong - high alkaline) detergent whereas Cockpit has cleaners in it but very mild (lower alkaline). Its main job is to care and protect the surface. Which leads to the next common question about Cockpit having UV protection. It's very minor. I bet most of you think of UV protectants in car care products as the same ones that are in suntan lotions. First, they don't utilize the same thing. Suntan lotions use Zinc and other types of minerals. Instead we include ingredients that are often called sacrificial protectants. There's no SPF or anything like that. Cockpit has an ingredient that prevents fading from heat and UV. But keep in mind that automotive glass filters out the majority of UV rays. If you have a convertible (or a water craft) and you keep the top dropped often, I would recommend ocassionaly treating the dash and armrests with our Vinyl-Rubber Care and Protectant. Because it's formulated for the exterior which gets maximum exposure to the elements we do include more UV protection (or rather protectants that counteract the effects of UV) and heat.
