dsms detail - Dinan BMW 135i

    BMW 135, mostly used a weekend/trackday car. All aftermarket mods, ECU, suspension, exhaust etc. is all Dinan. Car makes approx. 360whp. No major correction done, light correction cleanup and layered up for protection.

    Heavy brake dust from track days accumulated

    Stripping tires of old dressing

    After initial foam car sprayed down with OPC to help further strip old LSP which was Zaino, even after this some beading was left which was killed with clay followed by IPA

    Interior needed a bit of work

    Powrlock on the doorjambs

    Car was given a 1 step correction to remove light marring, only the trunk needed a bit of compounding. No need for rotary on this car

    Using the new Griots DA for the first time, very solid machine

    damn nice david. you have every single da lol. nice gloss. those 135i's have the same 335i motor in a lighter vehicle and if it has 320hp to the wheels thats close to 380hp+ to the crank

    Huge fan of the 1 Series (well only the 135i) drive that at BMW Innovation Drive event here in Toronto and its quick, nimble and comfortable, and I really could care less that its small. And the DCT is a snappy tranny, but there are some reliability issues with it. Overall, great work!

    Nicely done Dave....The lighter colours definitely seem to suit the 1er's better than the darker colours IMO :thumb:

    Were those stock wheels or did u paint them or powdercoat them. I am looking to do something like that to my wheels
