A 2008 Subaru STi in Aspen White, has been brought to us, in dire need of a proper detail. Since new, and 32k miles in between, this car has never seen wax. The owner, drives the car the way it was made to and takes it often to the track and auto-x events, a proper way to own a performance car! However, it's exterior was crying for help and the owner knew this, so we had our work cut out for us. After 6 hours of prep alone, over 3 of them with clay alone got this car ready for correction. It is safe to say, this car was one of the heaviest concentration of fall out and rail dust that I have encountered. Being Subaru paint, the swirls were waiting for us, and we were ready for them. The wheels came off, and the owner removed his roof rack (which he used to transport his change of wheels to and from the track) as well as his front rally light bar. It was entertaining to see the car visually change shades of color through each step of the detail, the final result speaks for itself!

    Products used:

    Menz 203 + orange pad
Megs 105 + wool pad (rear quarter panels only)
    P21S paint cleanser
    P21S TAW
    Adams Undercariage dressing
    Megs wheel brightener
    Megs super degreaser
    Wolfgang Fuzion wax
    Denase sealant
    Ricarrdo yellow clay
CG Super Suds solution as clay lube
    CG wheel cleaner
    CG citrus wash
    Optimum Opti-Bond tire dressing
    3M green tape
    3M Adhesive remover
    Sprayway ammonia free window cleaner

    Procedure:
Car was rinsed, sprayed with P21S TAW (even thought it was not needed since it was never waxed since day one), rinsed and washed with CG citruswash. 4 hours were spend claying the car due to severe rail contamination. After, car was washed again. Dried and taped off. Car was repainted due to hail damage. Tested section of hood with Menzerna 203 and orange pad and it got almost everything on first pass (some panels needed 2 passes, some needed Megs M105 and wool pad. Taillights and rain guards were polished with Menzerna 203 and orange pad. Then car was wiped with p21s paint cleanser, sealed with Denase paint sealant, then waxed with Wolfgang Fuzion wax. After, wheels were removed, wheels wells cleaned and dressed, brake calipers cleaned and sealed, wheels cleaned inside and out, sealed and dressed. Car was rinsed and then dried.

Nice work. Glad to see the owner driving it like it's meant to. That right there is one of my favorite cars in the best color it comes in(and most rare). You guys work with so many Subarus, I'm jealous.

love it, easy on and easy off

dont like it myself, i think if they make aftermarket to at least do same style as oem. exhaust if crawfort or something, dont like it couse one exhaust pipe is silver and one is bronze couse heat distribution, you almost cant see that one pipe does anything, pretty poor design if you ask me. almost like saleen fake exhaust pipes

Great job. I actually like that car. Wouldn't own it, but like it. Those rims however, are terrible.
