I haven't posted anything in a while. This is a black Honda Accord. In for a basic wash/clay/wax and a quick once over on the interior. This car was knackered all to hell on the outside. RIDs/scratches/swirls everywhere, but no paint correction was requested. I pulled a lot off the paint during the claying process. Paint felt really rough beforehand. Not many pics were taken. None of the inside were shot. Thanks to Jerry (racersky) for the before shots and for working on the interior. Final shots were taken by me. Now for thoughts on 2 particular products: Menzerna PowerLock. I have used this a few times before, but it really impressed me on this car. Even though there wasn't any paint correction, it left a nice amount of gloss and slickness behind. I was very impressed to say the least. 1Z Wheel Cleaner. Not the best wheel cleaner ever, but cleaned these wheels pretty good. Underrated in my opinion. The accord looks good. I agree with Powerlock! It's amazing stuff! So easy to apply and remove! I don't know if I could try something else.
Nice job Roger, but how could you get over spray of foam on the car next to it...tisk tisk haha just messing.
That car hasn't moved since before I moved into my house. You should see the paint on that thing :barf:
Nice job! So did you have to go over the wheels after with wheel brightner, or the 1z to all that biuld up off, again nice job.
Great work as usual Roger. I didn't recognize you with the long hair ... lol I would never own a black Honda. Had a dark grey one and it was a pain in the butt to keep clean.
Looks good Roger! Who's big ass boat of a car is that next to you when detailing? You usually just do your own cars, correct? Its nice not touching the same paint and body lines all the time, which reminds me I need to bug some ppl for a detail!
beautiful, everytime I wash my car I wish I have a foam canon. Any chance you've used a foam gun vs canon? Should I put extra money towards the pressure washer if they are any different?
I actually have been doing cars for other people for a couple of years now. Not as many as I would like, but some nonetheless. That big-ass car is the next door neighbors. It hasnt moved in years. The foam cannon is better than the foam gun IMO. You should get it, but not until you can afford getting the pressure washer and everything. FYI, I use a gas powered pressure washer. I had a foam gun before and could never get foam like this out of it. But it is a good tool still, if you are on a budget.
Man I would do it again in a heartbeat. Got to learn some stuff about different chemicals from 1z, CG, and something else that's on the top of my head but i can't seem to get type it out -_-"
