I was kinda proud of these, I thought they came out pretty well, so decided I'd share. Camera body: Canon Rebel XT lenses: Canon 28-135mm 3.5-5.6 IS USM, and a Canon 50mm f1.8. of course, straight from camera. I honestly don't have the time to post process pics. This one is a little blurry. I tried to get him just before jumping, and he is in mid air here. He's real proud of his bike. And what does a 2 year old do with the only mud puddle in the driveway? one last one:

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the kind words about the kid Enjoy your free time while you have it. Not that I'd trade the kid for anything, but a child requires ALL of your time. He ALWAYS wants to play. My normal day consists of go to work til 5, then play with the kid til 9 or 10, then after he falls asleep I have a couple drinks, watch the news, and go to bed. That's it.
lol. It's just my way of winding down. But before the kid it was jack daniels. Now it's Old Crow lol. No more name brand booze for me. Unless I want to splurge. Then I'll get a bottle of Jameson. My favorite whiskey hands down.
Great shots Pete...take lots man..they grow up so fast as you know. It's great to have the memories stored. Do you have an external hard drive as a backup for your pics? the last thing you want is to lose any.
Great pics Pete! Perhaps the first picture could have used a slightly faster shutter speed. I've been trying to get a really good deal on a 28-135 but haven't had any luck. Looks like a decent lens.
No, I don't. That's a great idea though. I had a memory card malfunction on me, and I lost quite a few pictures of him. I don't want that to happen again. That was a sh*tty day. Thank you sir. Concerning the first pic, he was standing at the edge of the deck for quite some time, so I thought it was going to be a stationary picture, not a moving one. The 28-135 USM IS is my favorite lens right now. I think I got mine for around 250 shipped. And that included a NICE canon glass UV filter on it.
lol... I wouldn't have wanted a kid when I was your age either. Yeah he's growing real fast. pretty soon he'll be 16 and hate my guts. I'm enjoying being his hero for as long as I can.
