Hey everyone, Lets get to the detail. There were a few scuffs and scratches that were massaged out with SIP. The only issue on the car is the amount of clearcoat overspray around the rear particularly the bumper and rear passenger quarter panel. I wanted to apologize for some of the truncated pictures. I accidentally deleted the files from my SD card and had to do an emergency recovery and while some files were lost most of them are here. Total work time approximately 16 hours. Enjoy. looks great! Black is such a killer color when done up properly. May i ask how you performed a emergency recovery from your SD card? Also, what do you guys tell your clients after they get a correction job done? Do you ever have cases where people take them back through the tunnel wash or something silly like that?

Thanks Rich I honestly don't know if the customer was stoked or happy. He didn't seem that stoke maybe it's because the sun was no longer up. I'm the most stressed if I don't know if they're happy or not. If someones happy I can fix whatever they are unhappy about but if they don't say anything I get BrAwwrrRrrr lol. My stomach is always in a knot when I get customers that don't really have a reaction or a very melancholy reaction. I definitely hope he likes it. I just followed up with him via an email so I'll get a response. Sometimes i get customers that wonder why it isn't perfect and it is sometimes very hard to explain the balance between result, time and cost involved in getting it to a certain level. That being said I like to have a chat prior to a detail about their expectations. If they are unreasonable I've learned to move on because in most cases it just isn't in my best interest or their best interest. Thank you Oh at first i used PC inspector which is horrid because it recovers all the files i mean even files that don't need to be recovered because they are obviously still on the SD card. It took a full day to recover that being said i have a 16 gig card. I ended up using Undelete Plus. It's not that bad but it's weird both programs were able to recover different files while some files that were recovered did overlap the ones that were not were different. Usually clients ask me about proper maintenance before I have a chance too but I usually have a small chat about products right before I start when I'm doing my walk around. So far I've been lucky with clients they know at the very least not ot take it through a cloth wash but many are surprised that even touch-less isn't good for their cars particularly when heavily soiled. Nikku - Nice detail job. Had a question, if your are detailing a car with a 3m protective coating on the side fenders which are pitted a little (but hasn't gone through to the paint) will polishing get this pitting out or does the film need to be replaced from our experience?? Thanks
