3m carbon fiber trim

What products should I use to clean and protect carbon fiber trim? :shead:

 

The vinyl overlay stuff right? I would use a mild APC and maybe 303 Aerospace or something like that.

 

You can clean it with any APC and a microfiber or soft brush, you can also protect it with any wax or sealant that does not stain trim.

I just use a damp MF to clean it.

 

Ditto ^ No need using any kinda harsh chemical if at all possible :tiptoe:

 

Problem is the new di-noc (i think that is it) 3m CF vinyl is textured so waxing it will cake up the texture, also some APCs can get behind the vinyl. The adhesive on this vinyl is known to be not the best so I would stay away from chems and just use damp MF like I said above. If you have to us something just mist the MF with a gentile APC and spot clean.

 

I'd just use Cockpit Premium...

My interior never gets dirty enough to need to use APC or any other cleaners, just wipe down with CP once a week or so....
