This is my personal car, it's a 2008 Audi A4 2.0T S-Line. I love the car but I hate the wheels and brake dust build up. The areas are so small it's really hard to fit your fingers in and get some adequate motion to polish or even scrub the wheels without damaging something (if using a tool). I first used AG Custom Wheel Cleaner, Followed by Meguires Wheel Brightener Diluted 4:1 then 2:1, and finally P21S Polishing Soap.....

    Here is the culprit!

Sorry, I am new at this and can't figure out how to post pictures and write above them what step it is and what I used so I'll have to just write it here and direct you through the pictures. The first 3 are before pictures. The second 3 are after AG's CWC, the 7th and 8th pictures are after Megs Wheel Brightener 4:1, 9th & 10th are P21s polishing soad, and 11th and 12th is cleaning the remainder with a quick shot of Megs wheel brightener 2:1 dilution. The last picture is the final product sealed with CG's Jetseal 109, and tires dressed with CG Silk Shine. Hope this helped a little. Those stubborn black marks were an issue for a long time. I have used almost every wheel cleaner until I broke down and ordered almost everyone's suggestions on wheel cleaners. I must say, I LOVE AG CWC, the wheels were really bad and the pictures don't even justify and the CWC took it right off, minus some of the black spots.

Wow, those wheels must be really hard to clean. Have you tried using a Swissvax Wheel Brush?

Couldn't live without it! i love their wheel brush. The wheels are a lot of work but they look great all cleaned up. I actually mean to put a fresh LSP on before our New England Winters, but didn't get around to it and I paid the price when I had to clean them this summer. Won't forget about that again

Supertuner, Sorry i wish I could have done a better job at posting those pictures and putting some captions, but basically I started the first wash with AG CWC, then Megs 4:1 dilution. that didn't get the spots out so I used polishing soap, they were nearly gone after that so I used a quick shot of megs 2:1 dilution to say good riddens do the last of them.

i dont think the design is that bad, you just need to stay on top of it.

Even if you dont wash the car, give the wheels i high pressure hose once a week after spraying on some P21S wheel cleaner. Also now that you've got them clean, layer a good quality sealant like Z2-Pro

these are the rims on my daily, and i follow above steps and use a Swissvax wheel brush for in between the spokes

    Dom,

Love the M. Great looking lip on those rims.

What tire dressing you use? Looks nice. I am currently using Pneu.

thanks mate, took me months to choose the right offsets..... Work offer an almost endless amount of sizes, offsets, wheel faces, so confusing

here is rear offset on a 10"
