been looking to buy two or three porter cable 7424, the older version for doing cleaning on interiors of my customers cars, namely the dealerships. thought I would find them in bunches used for real cheap but they are more expensive then the newer porter cable 7424xp version. is there a reason for this? I was looking to buy some used ones but cant find any that are cheaper then the new ones. are the new ones garbage or something? godoman
Are you looking on websites or for sale threads? If they are used from individuals they are just trying to screw someone over. I just ordered the new Griots DA for 148 shipped, there is no way I would pay some of these people 125 for a used one!
I know, that is what I am saying. I know that the older porter cable 7424 was discoed but thought I could at least find one. am using them along with my steamer on the carpets and everything comes out so clean and new in such quick time that I want to invest in two or three more. two dedicated to carpets, one dedicated to uphostery seats and the other one for sealants and liquid waxes. saves alot of time and money to have each one with the correct mounting on it so that you dont have to waste time screwing and unscrewing all of the different fittings, rather to just grab the porter cable 7424 that is ready to go. know what I am saying? if you guys can find one for me used hit me up. godoman
