    Hey Guys,

I just received my bottle of Menzerna PO203 Power Finish but there are a few things that concern me..

First, the product is white like merzerna SIP.. I read on the menzerna polishing chart online that PO203 is grey.. i know that 106 is grey (which i have)

Also, are the bottles normally sealed? ..I can't remember.. with this "new" bottle of PO203, I removed the cap and there was no seal.. also the product was filled 1 inch from the top.. is it supposed to be full?

Just some verification would bring me peace of mind!

    Thanks,

    Dave

PowerFinish is going to be white like SIP. Bottles do not have a seal on them, and 1 inch from the top is new from what I remember. You are all good to go and polish away!

On the Menzerna chart, P203S (PowerFinish) indicates product is suppose to be white. Do not know which chart you are looking at or which product.

I have also seen a chart mentioning that it's grey ... I think it's the chart from AG.

Does power finish need to be broken down or just pressure dependant?
Mine is also white and had no seal.

Powerfinish, like all of the Menzerna polishes currently out, are diminishing abrasive polishes thus they do need to be broken down to get the best results.

The polish is pad and pressure depending, varying both or one will give you different correction results and finishing results.

Similar note; I bought a bottle of Meg's NXT 2.0 from Wal-Mart (for my DD) and when I got home, the bottle wasn't sealed and the wax inside was a blue-ish green. It also has a different smell. Did they change their formula or something? I was worried some prankster changed out the wax with a liquid paint stripper or something

thanks. I was just wondering because someone told me that the m205 that I had was not a diminishing abrasive was just pressure dependent.

Megs M205 is a non-diminishing abrasive and is pad, pressure, and speed dependent. Megs 105 and 205 are both SMAT abrasives or non-diminishing. Menzerna currently does not have any non-diminishing abrasives.

Also don't be concerned about the fill height. We are supplying quart quantities in a one-liter size bottle. A liter is a bit more than a quart so it would appear to be slightly less filled than if it contained a liter.
Same goes for our gallon which is filled in a 4-liter container. A gallon is 3.7853 liters so it won't be filled to the top.
