I'm thinking this weekend I need to pick up some zep citrus and try that out, any suggestions on a solid dressing to go along with it?
CD2 Engine Detailer if you can find it. Sometimes they have it at Autozone. It lasts forever and looks amazing.
Yup, CD2 Engine Detailer is the only way to go if you are looking for the longest lasting dressing for engines. If you follow the directions, the engine will look dressed for 6 months at least.
Wow, it's really that good? I'd be nervous to switch from my 303, I love it so much and just ordered another 32oz container of it. But, from the sound of it, sounds like I should check this out.
Save the 303 for your dashboard. CD2 is the holy grail of engine dressings. Many have looked for it. Few have found it. :worship2: Whenever I find it, I buy all the cans the store has in stock.
I've had very good results with Ardex Ulti-Dress RTU. Sprays on easily, moves around wet, wipes and levels nicely, but when it dries........that stuff does not go anywhere for months. Very good water resistance and durability.
303 aerospace, 1Z vinyl/rubber care, or meg's hyperdressing. I used to use CD2, but the cost was just not worth it for me. I can walk to a store near me and get it.
Without a doubt, it maintained the dressed look shockingly long. I too have a lot of 303 but this stuff is no comparison, it is not even affected by the high heat around the turbo in my car. The only draw back is the aerosol application but I have been using a foam applicator for a while to avoid the overspray.
