im going to do a wash today (using my sample of MS ultragloss from cooter. Thanks!) I was wondering whether i should put warm water in my wash bucket or cold water. Which do you guys do, or prefer?

and now that i think of it, what should i put in my rinse bucket?

    thanks guys

I love using warm water, but now that I have a CR Spotless, I get deionized cold water from the hose. I know I could hook it up to a sink or get a heater hose, but that's too much trouble.

Warm in the winter and w/e comes out of the hose in summer. Have not seen a difference in performance, just like using warm in winter so my hand does not get freezing cold.

Yup, this. Washed my GTI with cold water and my dad's Volvo with warm water...I could feel my fingers after I did the Volvo, not so with my GTI.

Hot water in all buckets during the winter, especially for my wheels bucket as the EZ Detail Brush loves hot water.

During the summer, only the wheels bucket continues to get hot water.

did my wash with warm water today and i will never use cold water again...at least during the colder months. The only problem i faced was that the soap wanted to dry to the paint, but it was well worth it.

Dont you have a faucet in the kitchen that has a remove head, if not it is time to get one so you are not hauling the bucket up the stairs, haha.
