after what i have read in car and driver, i think ppl who crashed them had no common sence at all. according to car and driver even if your car at WOT and you press brakes it will stop maybe 10ft over if car was not in WOT. in some higher end cars including lexus, if car is in WOT and you press brake, computer imidiatly closes TB but you better press brake fast and stop the car before brakes overheat
That's what I don't understand. If that happened to me, I'd slip it into neutral. I rather blow the engine than crash. Fortunately, the Camry Hybrid's don't have the defective pedal assembly. Mike
