This e30 was owned by myself for over a year, in which time I sold it to a local collector last august. A of people requested I post up the process and results so hear it is.
I originally planned on fully correcting the paintwork but I sold the car , most of the car only got a light machine polish before it went.( the car was in great condition anyway)

    The car.

1990 e30 325i sport in brilliant red. I purchased this car in kent in 2008 with after market alloys from the original owners 323i. There were only 2 previous owners to me. With only 89k miles, full service history and being totally original it was a pleasure to own and drive. Absolutely no rust could be found , even in the sunroof tray( where e30`s are notorious for rust). When people say they have a mint shell, this really was.

-Most of the products used were from the swissvax range.
-Machine work was carried out using either 3m EFC or ultrafina on various 3m pads
-Wax of choice was swissvax bos
    -Leather treated with Glyptone

Please note work was done at various stages while car was in storage so no particular order of photos.

Here is the car when I first picked it up

The spoiler was removed to remove some scratches and generally clean the boot lid. While I was at it I removed the numberplate covering to view the rust, lucky for me there wasn`t any.Another rust spot around the number plate lights.
