It seriously looked like it sat in the desert/sun for quite some time. There were some sections that were severely oxidized, primarily around the door handles. Here's what it looked like before the wash. Lucky for me both of my remote's batteries were dead so I have a gap in my pictures. So I had to go out to the store and grab some more. Before: This looks like fun! Eeek. Engine - Before: Engine - After: The interior needed some attention. Interior - Before: This was the first round of extraction, nice results and I'd freak if that crap was in my carpet and mats. Interior - After: Second round! Much better! I ran into a little microfiber problem, as you'll see in most of the after pictures. The tiny specs that look like imperfections/scratches are really lint from my towels. I was driven crazy trying to remove them. One towel, after wiping down the panels, would leave so much lint behind that I would have to get a clean towel just to remove them. Really frustrating, to say the least. I took measurements of the paint before I started to polish. The average range was from 110 to 130 microns. There was one spot in the trunk that had below 100 microns, but that was in an area where some heavy RID were. Awesome work! I am tired of all the super cars. Nothing beats to see a thrashed every day car gets resurected from the dead.
I don't know to be honest. The owner just literally picked the car up a 2 days before he dropped it. I'd have to ask him, or let him know. Thank you for the kind words. Thank you! :applause2:
