If really dirty and caked up do second application and rinse. Ease of use: Very easy to use, can clean a few pads pretty fast. Polish just comes right out and does not take long at all. Great if you just have a handful of pads to clean or some really caked up pads that sat around. Smell / Scent: Solvent/alcohol smell, but not too powerful Consistency: Like water Cleaning Ability: Great cleaning ability, 99% of the pad only needed one application of cleaner and pads came out clean. Cleaned a pad in less than 30 sec. Pros: Cleans pads fast and easy, works great, amazing on really dirty pads that are caked up and been sitting around. Also works great on wax applicator pads and applicator pads that had sealant that is hard to get off such as 845 Cons: None really, price may seem high but cost per application is really low Overall Comments: Great product and would recommend anyone to get it that is looking for a great pad cleaner. If it can take care of 845 residue ... it can take care of everything. I don't know if you guys agree with me, but 845 residue is a PITA to clean. I always have to boil the MF's used to buff off 845 residue. If I don't do this, I can tell which MF was used to remove 845 'cause it won't soak in water at all. Thanks for the review!! :applause:
845 does take 2 applications to get it out of foam applicator pads but it does work. 845 is the worst product to get off of foam and MFs. I have a few MFs that I only use for 845 because of it. But boy does it last and look great on paint!
I actually enjoyed using this product works like a charm :nod:....but once I used it all up I never bought any more :shead: :shrug:
+1, 845 residue is tough to clean. My 2 pakshak MFs look like cant soak in water anymore. look like the 845 residue cake up in the piles. I tried to clean it few times and dry it in the room, however its not improve at all ... how to make the MFs back to normal? Do I need to boil those towels? I have never try boil method so far. thanks

For the past little wile I've been using Meg's APC, not much but just enough, it gets the job done. A little APC goes a long way...but that's just me, when I run out of Meg's APC I'm actually going to go back to this XMT product, it works quite well :thumb:

I got this along with the XMT pad conditioner when I ordered some pads, yeah, it cleans - but the smell took my breath - I use to work in an autobody shop so I've been around some strong chemicals. For the price - just get some Dawn Power Dessolver at Wal Mart, cheaper and works great - plus the wife can use it in the kitchen/laundry.
