3M's new Car Wash soap is simply amazing!!!

It has the same part number, so I would assume it's the same formula.

 

Seems a bit old to me, I rather be safe and buy which ever is newer. your call!

 

Wow I almost choked on my lunch. Dodo's shampoos are highly concentrated, a bottle should last a very long time and be excellent value for money.

 

its not foaming up at all for me in the foam canon
I find my self adding more and more, not the case in the wash bucket though
after sticking the pressure washer in it.

 

Tried the 3M soap yesterday, far from amazing in my opinion. Average suds and cleaning ability, so decided against placing an order.

Browsing one of the other forums I noticed that the guy who started this topic actually has links with 3M, so his hyping up a mediocre product casts him in a poor light IMO.

 

I am a 3M reseller and i can't get hold of this new range.

It’s only been launched through 3m online web site and is not available through 3m automotive at the moment.

 

hey Paul, do you mind sharing what smell the shampoo is...I didn't find mine smells nice..it's not as thick as my OPT or any megs shampoo..it's almost like water..mine with different label by the way, but it has the same product number though

 

I bet 3M saw a spike in sales on this soap after this thread was made.

 

I think gold class is an excellent shampoo. Lots of suds and slick as hell.

Z7 is one of my favorite as well. Only use it on our cars.:catfight:

I have to agree with you on this one, even in his new video trailer he poses with 3M products. I know I will het shuned for agreeing, but its kind of a sell out.

The 3M Soap was on sale at Big Lots for $1.99. That should tell you something.

O.K. well I tried it yesterday, and after diluting it in water I do like the smell now. It foams and cleans just fine, and I can tell that it won't strip protection off. My only complaint is that the soap is like water and not very concntrated. The whole bottle per 3m's dilution ratio will only make 16 gallons of wash water. That's only like 5 washes with a bucket filled just over halfway. I can't help but to think this product has been designed to sell more product, since you will be running out constantly. But I did like the soap. My suggestion to them, Is to concentrate it more. It needs to be about 3 times this concentrated to be a good value. Maybe the best just costs more? It's cheap compared to Zymol's Clear, but it's also much less concentrated so you'll probably end up spending just as much, since you'll need 3 bottles of it to do the same work.

 

I would say you guys are spot on in your assumptions. If you look at his last vid. One would surmise that he is being backed/sponsored by 3M.

 

Paul may be sponsored by 3M, but that doesn't mean 3M doesn't have good products. I would doubt Paul at the level where he is now, would want to be associated with inferior products.

 

i agree with p1et... i look at it like this if a sponser approches you with free products and money perhaps. who would turn this down? tiger woods might hate nike but they give him free crap and money . he sure does were there stuff....

 

Ya that is definitely true. If you are that high up i doubt you would want your name associated with crap products you do not believe in or think do not work.

 

In the end, you need to make up your own mind on which products work for you. Some love Swissvax, others don't. Some like Menzerna, others don't. Doesn't mean it's not good, just means it didn't work for you.
