Any input will be appreciate It claims 3 yrs of protection :yikes: One of my customer came today and said that i can not wax his car or wash it with nothing more than shampoo :crasy: since he apply a glare treatment and to me seems like a resin but really don't know nothing about this products
Thats kind of harsh. I'm sure if I looked really hard for a really long time I could find one worse than that.
It doesn't even work in Firefox! They developed it for Internet Explorer which is losing tons of market share. And not to even mention that IE doesn't conform to the standards which have been put into place for web development and browser compatibility. I didn't even try it with Chrome or Opera, but if it doesn't even work in Firefox, that's a huge no-no in the webdev world. It may not be the worst website ever, but it really is bad. I checked it out in IE and it's a bit better... but I shouldn't have to load up a terrible browser to view the site
I think I saw a demo of their products at the state fair! That $180.00 battery powered polisher sure looks tempting. I wonder if it has forced rotation? Enquiring minds want to know!
what products you want to know about? When i first picked up my truck I started using Glare products. My classmate from high school is the Hawai'i distributor down here so I have had the chance to try out a lot of their products. This was five years ago! They have since came out with a LOT more products...He also goes up with them to Sema every year and works the booth. I believe he's one of their master technicians in using the product. I like their shampoo as it is very slick and a little goes a long way. It looks exactly like SV auto bathe for those who have tried it, but not as much of a fruity scent to it. Two cap fulls to one bucket. This wash doesn't suds up but does a pretty good job of cleaning, not 100% but close. If you pre-soak the vehicle before then use the shampoo then obviously it only fortifies the cleaning of the shampoo. Knock-Out -This is a fairly aggressive product that shouldn't be used on new vehicles or fresh paint as it was designed for older vehicles or vehicles that have bad oxidation on their paint. You can consider this to be comparable to Menz Intensive Polish depending upon what pad you use with this. A heavy cut pad can make this act more like Menz SIP. This product is used as the 1st step to level out the paint. Micro Polish This product acts just like 85RD or 87MC once again, depending upon what pad you use. This product helps to remove the fine swirls and holograms left from the polishing machine and knock out. For times when i'm lazy and don't feel like going all out on the polishing, I used to just whip this bad boy out with a LC white pad and just do a quick round on the truck before LSP. Finishes down LSP ready Spider Polish meant to take care of the "spider webbing" swirls on the paint. I only used this when I only had a PC7424 to work with so I can only say how it works with that...it doesn't by itself! On a side note, you can mix the different polishes together to help speed up the process or to aid in jeweling the paint before LSP. I've had more success with using this mixed with Micro Polish and producing much better results then it by itself. I've never tried it with my flex so maybe with that it would work a bit better! Professional Polish Pretty much works as a sealant. First time users have to use two coats, meaning that you use quite a bit of product the first time you apply it onto the paint. First coat work it into the paint till it disappears then buff off. Second coat apply till it hazes kinda like applying a nuba. Let haze and dry for a few minutes then buff off. It won't bead like other sealants or nubas out there, but the protection is pretty decent especially in our warm tropical climate here in Hawai'i. Side note: for those who can navigate their website, check under testimonials and you can see my truck there. I sent in a few photos for them when I had my truck done by my classmate. It was also when my truck was stock too! hehe Though for this LSP, two coats is good enough for this one. The two year claim, I don't even believe it as well as my classmate. We have gotten 12-15 months protection depending upon usage of the vehicle and climate it was driven in. Advanced Polish Same like Professional Polish, but they concentrated the formula! 2x the amount of glassplexin meaning you use A LOT LESS per application. Only available to professional detailers and/or car dealerships. I tried it out and essentially I got 2 oz from my classmate and that was enough to do my truck 3.5x. It's some pretty concentrated stuff. I've tried more products but i'm feeling :coffee: and gotta work in a few hours so i need some shut eye or i'll be :thud: at work tomorrow...I will post up reviews after I return home.
Really wanted to know more about the professional polish pro and con thats all im curious about it also its a stand alone product ? can u layer down? washing method ? does it last up to 5 yrs period?also can i apply wax on top? etc all the good or bad info will be appreciate:thumb:
Ive tried it, none of the products come close to working like they say. Its not cheap and the only people that generally think its any good are the ones selling it. Polish is full of fillers and sealant lasts 3 months max. Stick with menzerna etc not this snake oil stuff
Hey. i got something better. i have this stuff on my car that lasts like 10 years, sometimes up to 50 years or more ROFL. with statement like this i would stay away from this and with website designed so poorly im afraid product is same way, kinda reminds me of production car care products on youtube
Glare is a product line that I use quite alot after testing it for years and listening to the advice from the best Glare man in the world, who is also an Australian. Their products are not abrasive like say Menz Power gloss, SIP or Gloss it etc, its natural silicate ion and 95% of it is active ingredients, not like others which are water, glycerin, parrafin oil, clay or alum oxide abrasives and thats it. Most all people who use it, do so just like they would an abrasive compound or polish, trying to break down the abrasives when there is none and wiping it off when you should leave it on and put the next products straight over it or leave it to sit for a while Zero is the best product they have developed and allows you to do things with paint that no other product ever has. Like softening the paint for easier correction, deep cleaning the paint and flattening orange peel by fusing the hills and valleys together flat. The products do fill but unlike oil, clay or silicone based glazes, do not wash out in weeks or a few months, it takes a year at least Pro Polish can be layered as much as you want and replenishes the clear with it's silicate/glass composition. Knockout is amazing when used after Zero Frankly I dont care if nobody likes it or refuses to believe in their claims. Some are BS but many are actually achievable. It's never going to be used by the masses in the auto reconditioning and detailing trades due to the cost of the products and the techniques needed to make it work. I'm glad that this is the case. The colour improvement, depth and clarity that these products provide are beyond any other system The Advanced sealant is very tough and durable, a good year no worries but Gtechniq's products are a much more advanced silicate/quartz technology and my #1 choice for protecting automotive surfaces
TIP : dont buy Glare because of the protection it offers which is up there with the best systems of 1 to 2 years but has got some weaknesses in terms of hydrophobic effect not lasting that long Buy it if you want to safely reverse oxidation without removing any paint, want to reduce orange peel without removing the paint (fuses it flat), to prep the paint for abrasive paint correction (makes polishes work for longer with no dust, deep cleans the entire clear coat and softens the clear coat so that you can correct any scratches and swirls that are not into the metal with just a soft foam pad or light cut pad instead of having to wool or heavy foam cut it back Also useful for reblackening window moldings, polishing metals and many more.
Please would u send me more info about this products or where can i get that info not even at glare brazil really knows how their products work thanks in advance Billy
infinityauto.com.au paintprotectiondirect.com.au waterlesswash.com.au these are the aussie websites, all owned by the same guy its a hard system to talk about, its not like other products you just wipe on and wipe off
