Great Work sir!!! Shame a dealer would let that happen, sadddly they do the same here where i work =(
no, they didnt wet sand it. they used quick detailer and paper towel to get it off. dont ask me how i know
Nice work man !!:thumb: with ptg and a little wet sanding will be PERFECT and don't be afraid to start wet sandint its not that hard just has to be very careful :giterdone: Billy
id say its harder than most. had to do 2 passes of SIP via orange on some parts thanks man and yes im loving the new ones. especially the nav system and parts of the interior. yeh it really sucks when you pay so much for a new car umm im gonna have to ask you lol how do you know that? and how would quick detailer and a paper towel leave a raised etch looking thing and a bunch off deep scrathes? thanks billy ill be wetsanding it sometime in the spring when my cousin brings it in for a maintenance detail if you guys want to see how well it polishes out check out this thread C300 Part 2 where i polish out some deep scratches
well thats what i did one time on my accord on roof and thats what it did. not sure abour raised etching though. bird poop is pretty abresive when mixed iwth water and papertowel
Oh no this is def not the same thing. Plus the paints too hard for paper towel to cause scratches. This defect is raised and has a lot of sanding scratches on it. To me it def looks like there was a defect and they blobbed on clearcoat with a touchup pen ans
