Got a new LED Lenser yesterday, I have another one that's a bit aged so it was time for an upgrade. Not that there was anything wrong with the old one, still works like a champ, but this one had quite a bit more lumens. It's easy to go crazy with the lumens, but I felt like 100 was plenty for an all-purpose LED torch. Looking for marring on paint shouldn't be an issue.

Haven't gotten time to play with it yet, but here she is. I shall try to post a rewiew soon.

P1et, do you own a TK11R2? I would like to know if there's a big difference before I pull the trigger on the TK. I compared the TK next to the Brinkman and the TK is much brighter. The Brinkman's light is sort of yellowish and the TK is a bright white light. Thanks

Btw, the TK11R2 is about 120 bucks with extra battery and charger. The Brinkman is 30 bucks, how much is the Led Lenser?

No, I don't own any Fenix lights. I used to have a Brinkmann, but it broke. Now I just have two LED Lensers.

Remember, they have lifetime warranties. All it takes is $5 in postage and you'll get your LED Lenser replaced or repaired for free.

Nice light, I got a JetBeam Jet-IIIM a while back and love it. One thing I love is the adjustable brightness is infinite and you can set a custom brightness level between 5-100% so you can find the right brightness for the job and save it at that.

Friend of mine has that one, or a similar one, and its pretty sweet.

I have a Surefire with 80 lumen LED conversion and the Fenix TK10 which has 225 lumens on turbo mode. There is a huge difference between the two. Is it worth the $75 for the Fenix? I think so. They will both work, the Fenix is just a bit better with the extra lumens.

I have the P7 which is awesome for spotting swirls, marring and hologramming. Especially on the wide mode with full power. Not too big either. And 200 lumen :)

    Kind regards,

    Ebbe

Wow, congrats on the new light. Is it really 50 hours of run time on 3 AAA batteries?

My Dorcy 160-lumen runs for 5 hours on 3 AAA batteries, and my Dorcy 80-lumen runs for 8 hours on 3 AAA batteries. I cannot believe 50 hour run time, that is awesome!

I personally have 5 high power led flashlights... almost as addictive as detailing supplies!

It is funny to see a flashlight thread here.

I have a small flashlight collection as well. I learned a TON about them at candlepowerforums.com

That is the place to go to learn about flashlights.

    I have a TK-11(225 lumens, $75), a Surefire 6PD ($80)with a Malkoff M60 drop in($59, 250 lumens), and a Jet Beam M1X($150,450 lumens).

The Sure fire with the drop in is noticeably brighter than the TK-11 is. But for the job most here use it for, the TK11 is fine.

Here is a shot of my Jetbeam M1X.

Cory, I was looking at that JetBeam and ended up getting the Jet-IIIM and have not thought about replacing it. Love the ability to change the brightness to any level....strobe is also fun to play with :)
