how many of you guys gonna go see it? It will be released tonight, I'm planning to go see it, have to finish polishing first...
I'm gonna see it. Probably not tonight though. I'm too old to go to a premier. I like the movies better when there isn't a packed theater.
Me too! My wife and I will go a week later to the early show. None of you little shits running around!
So, if the predictions are true, no one of us will see the patents release for the poly clay! :gasp: :mad2:
my question with it is how do you have an upbeat ending? I like destruction too but I want the 'we kicked but' ending, especially after over 2 1/2 hours. Armageddon and Independence day had the big stand up and cheer finish, asteroid or alien don't f with us!. Seems like it will be more like Day after Tomorrow with the 'we kinda survived' ending.
I might go see it tonight with my girlfriend. She's been freaking out about it for a while now because she believes the whole mayan calender thing is real. Gives me an excuse to stock up on guns without her complaining. Youy know, they're for the apocalypse....
The whole Mayan thing is based on a star allignment that occurs every 24-36K years, can't remember exactly - but the earth is what - 2 BILLION years old, so relatively speaking, it's a regular occurance.
just was the movie and absolutely loved it! I love movies like this! By the way, how many of you guys gonna rent a plane just in case??? By the way, I told my wife that if she ever brings a car with an empty tank, I will make her walk to a gas station with a canister to get it filled up...gotta have gas in there!!!
The previews look fantastic, I want to see this one! Guys: let's all get Porsches and finance them on a 5 year note as we'll all we dead in three years anyways!
was gona go see it but then we went to TST scavenger hunt at KOP. it was a lot of fun even though our team didnt win. ill go see it when its less crowded
Saw it last night and didn't think it was that great. Woody harrelson was hilarious though. He made me want to see zombieland again.
Saw the movie yesterday. Great effects, some of the scenes were chessey. +1 to what Billy said about Woody. Although the Mayans were very accurate in their predictions, I still hold true as to what the Bible says about the world's end.
Maybe the Mayans had to stop working on the calendar because they simply ran out of ink. Or maybe, just maybe, after one of their human sacrifices, one of them realized "Oh sh**, we just killed our only calendar maker." :giggle:
