^^^ Too late now. I have a 2004 red WRX to do next that is in need of a lot of attention. It was the pace car for a Canadian Rally Championship event when it was just 2 weeks old. It's seen a lot of rally action and will need a lot of correction. I think I will learn a lot doing that car.
Car looks very nice!!, my next door nieghbors at the shop are the "wheeldudes" and they have STI's coming by all the time and most are modded. Have yet to see this color in person and I feel this is my favorite color so far for this car.
I have to admit I am not a big fan of Subaru, but after seing how beautiful this one looks, I might change my opinion (I hate having a though of having horisontal radiator - to be it's like brushing your teeth through your a$$hole)... Awesome work on it, looks flawless!!!
Very awesome job. That looks like a Dark Gray Metallic STI. My car is an 08 WRX Sedan in Dark Gray Metallic....it is unbelievably hard to see scratches and swirls....the color is great at hiding the clear coat. It's nice when I have some imperfections as they are nearly impossible to see, but very difficult to examine the paint after polishing each section. Did you have any issues with the color of the vehicle?
No issues yet but then it's not been through a winter. 3 coats of Victoria wax to go on this weekend and then it has to go back to work as a daily driver.
Great work! I'm with the others. That's a great color on that car, I don't think I've seen it before. I thought every STI ever built was blue. You set yourself up with a heck of a lot of excellent stuff for your first time with high end products.
Blue with gold wheels, right. Like Ferrari's are all red. Again, thanks to Ken @ Autowerkes Exclusive for patiently helping me pick the right products. I promise to do him proud on the red rally WRX that has been abused for years on rally roads. This was it's 2nd rally and less than 1 month old. The white magnetic backed strips are an attempt to protect the paint. I am no completely heartless.
Great looking car!!!!!! Those Subie's have really changed over the years!!! Cool little car's!! Looks like that WRX is gonna be a handful!
More like a bucket full than a handful. I'm going to take more photos for the before shots. Some things though cannot be detailed out, like the stone chips on the roof. That car deserves some lovin' though. I don't think I'll ever sell it. It's still fantasic to drive and draws more looks than the STI. Maybe because nobody believes there's a non blue Subaru out there,
Looking good ! The colour is really beautiful when it shines. That isn't a radiator, it's an intercooler...
