If I had to pick one wax to take with me onto a desert island, it would be RBOE. Hands down.

Thanks Karl. Like I have nothing else to do but try my RBOE this weekend. Damn you!

Ken, did you just get RBOE? I did too, so I have to try it, but when, I'm not sure.

Maybe I will next weekend on a white MB. I wonder how it would look over a layer of Werkstat AJT?

He doesn't sell Any of the Rubbish Boys stuff. It has to ordered from Rubbish Boys in the UK. Ben is a good guy and the service is great.

I'm going to be different and suggest Finish Kare 1000P topped with Finish Kare's Pink Wax.

I just tested Pete's 53 on top of a layer of Collinite 845 and Opti-Seal and I was amazed. 845 will make metallics pop, but the Pete's 53 increased this effect and also gave it a nice glow. I wish I had taken pics. I tried it on my dad's 08 Accord (metallic green).

Havn't read this yet throughout the posts, but you need to have a great deal of patients with RBOE, it take a little while to learn how to get the wax to work in your favor, just a little fyi..

for metallics i guess rboe and petes 53 are ones that get recommended time and time same with midnight sun ( I didnt really like that one)

But once you get it down, after an application or two, it goes fast and as fast as any other wax. :afro:

I totally agree here! It looked great on my Flamenco Black Pearl Integra. :)

Although I still haven't used my new pot of RBOE yet, haha. I guess that'll be something I'll be doing at the beginning of next year. Right now my car's on the Meg's #16 treatment for the California "winter", haha. :p:

Whilst on the topic of waxes, Ken what is your opinion on the RG range (55 & 42)?

My personal favorite is Race Glaze. Fantastic stuff.

I have. It's a great wax - excellent even. And, as the Dodo Juice website says, it's considerably more "mainstream" as far as ease of application is concerned. I still prefer RBOE, by a pretty wide margin. I sold my RBJE to littlemissGTO right here on DB. I liked it a lot, I just never used it. RBOE is my automatic choice for a "can't miss" 'nuba, so my JE was going unused.

For something completely different - try RBOE over top of Jetseal on a white car. It'll make it look like whipping cream. Sensational!

Zymol Concours (a tad over the target price, but very near so consider it!), Glasur or Carbon; Victoria, or Pinnacle Souveran are my recommends.
