I'm glad somebody posted this up. Today is the last day so you guys better get your orders in. I already ordered (over the span of the week-end) a 32oz bottle of Menzerna High Gloss Acrylic Shield and two 16oz bottles of Poorboy's Polish with Sealant. I'm still tempted to make another order perhaps for Wet Diamond or JetSeal or Blitz or EX-P or Opti-Seal. I know, so many god damn choices and so many good deals. The real star is Optimum Poli-Seal. The 32oz bottle can be had for only $10.99!
I completely agree about way too many good deals. I have a 1000mL bottle of KAIO in my cart right now, along with a 16oz of Blackfire AFPP. Debating on whether to get the deep gloss spray too.
Get rid of the Klasse AIO and put in Poli-Seal instead. Use the saved $19 and get a bottle of the BF Deep Gloss Spray Sealant. But just so you know, on the Proper Auto Care website, Blackfire says to re-apply the Spray Sealant every 7 to 10 days....that's doesn't sound like very good durability for a spray sealant.
Really? Is poliseal safe for glass, and removing water spots from chrome plated plastic? Does it also work well on rigid black plastic? Those are a few things I use KAIO for.
Poli-Seal is like Klasse AIO on steroids. It offers real abrasive polishing by machine. If you apply by machine, you have to work it in 2x2 sections and it will clean, correct, and seal in one step. Shorter working time than a real polish and it will destroy light scratches and haze. And it just disappears into the paint when you're done working it...nothing to buff off. When applied by hand, use it like Klasse. Spritz water or QD on your applicator and apply it to the paint...most of it will disappear leaving very little to buff off; it will haze up almost instantly, and it works on paint, glass, plastic, and chrome trim. There is no cure time so it's ready for whatever you want to put on top, but it leaves an actual durable paint sealant behind, not some half-ass acrylic coating. The only downside is that it will stain trim like a regular wax, so be sure to buff it off any trim you accidentally hit.
Everything you mentioned is for paint... I don't use Klasse on paint, I use it on pretty much everything but paint!
Everything I said about Poli-Seal and paint also applies to glass, plastic, and chrome. It will clean, polish, and seal these surfaces.
The only thing I worry about it, is that it is abrasive in nature. KAIO cleans the surface chemically. I would just hate to scratch up some chrome window trim or something.
yeah i would like to hear about this too? does is scratch stuff? but then again if it stains trim then your not going to use it on chrome window trim...
Unfortunately, I cannot comment on it vs FMJ because I've never tried it and I cannot comment on Poli-Seal's durability in general because I always top it with at least one product. I have read 3-4 months is the expected durability of the sealant, with longer durability if topped with Optimum Car Wax and/or maintained with Optimum Instant Detailer. Right now I am rocking a combination of: Optimum Poli-Seal applied by hand and two coats of Zaino Z-CS Clear Seal. Both products have been applied to paint, chrome, plastic, and glass of my vehicle. I am still debating on what "topper" to use over the next few months. Applying Poli-Seal by hand does not really provide much abrasive polishing. It goes on similar to K-AIO by hand and then hazes up and mostly disappears in about a minute....very little residue left to buff off. I agree that it's nice that K-AIO only uses chemical cleaners and it doesn't stain trim but I don't like buffing Klasse off. Poli-Seal is a dream so I always find myself going for the Poli-Seal. At the very least, I believe the product is worth a try because for me it has become a gem on my shelves. It's the best AIO I've got, among Klasse AIO, Zaino Z-AIO, PB PwS, and Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer (and that's one is more of a cleaner glaze).
