looks awesome. i just used it on a jet black lexus. if you don.t like it, top it with lusso oro.

I have it on my truck and it's non-metallic black.

More important question is how good is the condition of your paint?

its nearly perfect...cars just a month or so old. just covered in the typical light swirls from dealer washes:shakehead:

    should be fine then ...

it should look good as long as the paint is in good condition. the 845 doesn't hide scratches at all.

bringing this thread back b/c i dont want to make another new 845 thread...

I just did a quick pcxp polish today with SIP/Uber orange. and did an even quicker follow up with 85rd/blue. (i didn't really see any marring or holograms from SIP. can a pc even leave holograms?)

I then applied a layer of 845 via uber black pad at speed 4. I want to add another layer of 845 tomorrow. should i do the 2nd layer by hand? or is it ok to go at it with the pcxp and black uber again? I dont wanna remove the 1st layer.

BTW - 845 looks amazing on my black onyx lexus paint.

do you guys usually apply multiple layers of 845? i used the pc and was sure to go over everything 2x when applying so i know i got even coverage.

I know Phil tops 845 with Swissvax, and I know a many people top 845 with nubas. I do not see any issues with it, let it cure up for a day and apply some Petes the next day and you'll be fine.

I agree as well I think that would be a pretty awesome combination, the longevity of 845 and the insane look Pete's 53 gives a black car is most likely a good combo.

845 is a delight to put on, a little goes such a long way, the wax spreads itself super thin and doesn't stain the trim at all, easy to apply and easy to wipe off.
