I recently purchased this glaze and would like to try it on my next detail. I was wondering if I could use this glaze before 845 or OS. I believe 845 is somewhat of a solvent that would remove the glaze right off, but I'm not sure. I could also go with OS and top it off with OCW. My dad accidentally took my pete's 53/jetseal combo that would be ideal for this job, so I have figure out another way. Any advice?
What about durability? I need something that lasts a while. This is a non-garaged DD. Do you think I can do ez-creme/OS x2/OCW?
sealant over glaze is kinda redundant. I dont use glazes as they have short lifespans, and I just like sealants better. its up to you, and everyone will have different opinions. a non-garaged DD? 2 coats of opti-seal then 845. that will be your durability.
I was thinking about this combo ... the car is dark blue and it has swirls, so I'm trying to cover some of them under the protection. Thanks for your advice Roger.
hmm, 845 will remove the glaze? ez-creme is acrylic based so I thought it would stay there. Has anyone tried collinite with ez-creme?
I don't know if 845 will remove the glaze. I haven't seen anyone around here using glaze before 845 and it's a hybrid so that's why I would like some feedback. I'm going to try it out and will give feedback on any issues.
Yeah, I think the solvents in it would definitely take off the glaze. Maybe if you were using 915, that would be a different story.
guys ... I tried this combo ... and it rocks!!! :headbang: One layer of EZ-Creme followed by 845. I finished it off with a coat of OCW. I wiped every layer with optimum instant detailer. EZ-Creme improved the swirl marks and gave it a really intense gloss. I will post pics later tonight.
