Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've beey really busy. Anyways this client was referred to me by a present client. The corolla had not be detailed and it was in really rough shape. There are a lot of deep swirls and RDS. I loved the look of the rear lights on this corolla. It was my first corolla and hopefully it isn't my last. The more I detailed the Corolla the more I came to appreciate the curves. In any case I hope you enjoy the write-up and mind any goofy comments. It's been a tiring few weeks. Please mind some of the haze in some of the pictures they were before I finished off with PF and PO85rd. Hope you enjoy the pictures. It's fairly dull. Oxidized and swirled headlights. After I clayed the vehicle I had a better look at what I had to deal with. Spoiler Test Panel ( Hood ) I ended up with Tufbuf Wool and SIP as it gave me the best results. In most areas I needed two passes then I followed that up with white sonus with pf and blue sonus with PO85rd to give it a real pop. Left(spoiler) unpolished and Right(trunk) polished. Fuzzy headlight cleared up! Left side polished up and right sight unpolished Bumper Rear Lights Afters before LSP Beading Shots
this corolla look hot ...i guess if u wet sanded the lights it would of came out better ..but overall good job
Thanks for looking guys. I appreciate the comment slanguage. I should have taken pics after I dressed the tires. I will keep that in mind the next time.
THEY MAKE A TRD COROLLA?? that actually looks really awesome for a corolla, which is probably my least favorite car of all time, whats different on the TRD version? awesome Job too, it looks amazing.
Oh no by no means am I insulted slanguage. I like the feedback. It helps me get better so thanks TheJag yea it looks great. When the customer first drove it in I liked the styling the paint just needed some help. Now I think it looks brilliant.
It's an XRS, and he just put on TRD aftermarket parts. Corollas are gay as hell, I can't wait till I get rid of mine(family car).
Its been a while since I have seen you do a detail in your garage, your usually under your little canopy, was it raining?? That car looked like poo, what was the owners reaction when they picked it up?? Keep it up man!!
Thanks for the comments guys. I really appreciate that you've taken the time to look at it. I've been a bit MIA. I'll have a write up of a G35 that was completely trashed as well as a Marauder coming up soon and a couple of pretty write ups of an '09 S4 one step polish. Aaron you've been putting out some beautiful work. Mrgolfrider: He really enjoyed the work. Sometimes it's hard to read customers that are neutral. I try to get a rise out of them but it's sometimes very hard lol. Thanks for looking!!! It wasn't raining. The customer decided to bring the vehicle to me so voila. It's always nicer working in the comfort of your own space. BTW i love the canopy but it's too small and the EZ up that i bought from Kmart when i was down i buffalo was bent when I took it out of the box so i'm going to return it and probably just buy a larger version of the current canopy that I have. Darkstar is right about it not being a TRD. It's XRS but I think it looks spectacular. I really appreciate the rear lights. Corolla you say? What corolla? To each his own.
