Guys, So today I decided to stop by at the HD dealership to get some S100 products. I got the s100 paste wax, the shine-enhancing cleanser, and the tcw. I'm planing on using the S100 as a topper for my collinite this weekend (my pete's 53 and js hasn't shown up yet) for a metallic lime green mustang. Any suggestions regarding these products? Do I need a DA for the cleanser? What's the ratio for the TCW? I'm all ears guys ... :mounty:
The only S100 product I have ever used was the wax. Good stuff for the money. Apply thin, wait 1-2 minutes, then buff off.
Roger ... I'm gonna use it as a topper for my 845, but I have two concerns: 1. I have read that p21s/s100 attracts a lot of dust 2. Is it going to affect the 845 durability
It will attract some dust, but nothing major. At least in my experience with P21s. P21s shouldn't effect 845 durability.
shouldnt affect durability. as far as attracting a lot of dust, I'm not sure. Haven't used it in a while.
I'm getting the 'stang tomorrow. It's a v6 with leather ... nothing fancy. I'm still new at this ... I won't be polishing anything. I did a quick inspection and it's in decent shape outside. I think the interior is going to be a pain. It has tan leather and I saw stains everywhere. I got lexol and zaino stuff for the leather. I will be getting more folex for the lgm tomorrow. I'm really going overboard with this simple wash & wax, but the guy has 2 other cars he might bring me if I do a good job on this one.
Well guys ... that stang is done and in the stable:applause2: But my camera broke and I couldn't take pics I ended up going with the 845 and OCW as a topper because of time constraints. The stang was filthy on the inside. The owner smokes cigars and there was black film on the entire interior (including headliner). I had to use Zep Citrus (5:1) to get the panels cleaned. Everything turned out incredible and the owner wants me to do his other cars. At least he doesn't smoke on the other ones. I know this post is worthless without pics, but I'm impressed with the 845 - ocw combo. The owner even noticed the metallic flakes popping. sorry guys:sorry:
