Just tried out the VRT and it turned the trim a very nice black, and so being satisfied called it a day. Later that day i came out and it was drizzling a little and I noticed that where I had I applied it, the rain seemed to be washing it away...

Am i applying this wrong, is there a wait time, or is it just me??

I am just making an assumption here. It sounds like this product is much like Gloss Its TRV. The product is water based and must dry. Being water based it would simply wash away( or dilute ) with the rain if it had not dried.

i guess i could dilute this stuff and put it into a spray bottle too!

Product does need to dry well before rain hit it...

1:2 (1 part VRT/2 parts water) makes a great spray on.

yup needs to be dried first, you can dilute the product and put it in a spray bottle and use it on the engine works great

Let it dry and even it out, comes out very smooth.

Being waterbased, it will still eventually get washed off in the rain whether its left to dry or not. Just the nature of the beast.

thats true. heck its a great dressing tho, no matter what its going to do what any water based dressing is going to do.

You could try using opti seal on it. It beads water like it does paint and lasts longer than water based dressings!
