Well, I just had an aweful 12 hours. It started off yesterday around 5:45. My car wouldnt crank. This is after last week when I had a 02 sensor wire get knocked off and short out some relay's and wires (controlling the a/c in Mississippi, that was a joy). So back to last night. My g/f's roommate's dad gets my car cranked while I'm at work. They bring it to me. They turn the car off. It wont crank back up. So they go to WM and get a new battery. I install it later. So I take the tools back to my g/f's house and leave. I ran off the side of the road (You know the kind where your cars riding right down the edge) and hits a small crater. I drive down the road about a mile or two. Seems kinda like the handling isnt all there in the rear. I pull over. You guessed it. Tire's flat. So I call a wrecker. They tow me to the local Tire shop. Then the car wont crank agian (LOL). So my mom comes and gets me to take me to my house and get a new tire(i've got a cpl of spares). She takes me back to the Tire Shop. On the way there, she gets pulled over for speeding LOL. I know the cop. He lets my mom go. He was laughing as much as we were. So, I get the tire put on, jumped the car off and go to AutoZone and they test my Batter/Alternator. Its fine. One of the terminals wasnt on it very tight. I put it in by flashlight last night. So that was my own fault. Also earlier this morning. My debit card was declined at a Gas Station. I stop by the back and I've got plenty of money in there. So, there's a little more anxiety to brighten my day. All in all. Pretty sucky. I just hope its over. Oh Happy Day Sorry for the rant. Just needed to let it out. Heath Ya'll have a great day! I need some Michelob Ultra:drinking2:
Wow Heath, that is a helluva 12 hours. Get some sleep and start all over and hopefully the last 12 hours will just feel like a dream. After all that you deserve a complete week of no misery and I hope it is misery free for the rest of the week.
Ouch! At least it's over now. I hate those days. Until everything gets better, then I can look back and laugh at it.
Oh Yeah. My windows wouldnt roll up all the way but I got that figured out after a few minutes of research.
Sounds like a typical day of mine.:giggle: :sorry: You had such a rough day, glad its over now :mounty:
Damn heath sorry to hear about all this. Weird how things seem to happen all at once. glad you got it figured out and you had people in your life willing to help you! Says a lot about you. Glad everything came around for ya!
Nice one Heath! My debit card was "turned off" a few weeks back by my bank. When I walked into a branch to inquire what the issue was, they found it suspicious that I bought something at a camera shop, then filled up two vehicles shortly after that. A bit annoying, but on the other hand, Chase was on top of it!
On a rough day I'll either nap or have a beer. On a day like that, you take a sip of Sol and put a shot of lemon vodka in and flip it over to mix. Also works with Blue Moon and orange vodka.
Neither of these methods work^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I've tried them, trust Me on this one.:shakehead: Your Problems will still be there when you Wake-Up/Come 2 and theres a Very good chance you will have created even more problems.
Depends on the caliber of the weapon and weather or not (usually) its an exit or entrance wound. I've seen plenty of .22cal entrance wounds that would be fine with a bandaid. Bear in mind though. It depends greatly on where the the bullet goes. Say it were go into your chest between a cpl of ribs. The damage internally maybe greatly increased with the chance of the bullet going through several major organs ie liver, spleen, bowel, stomach. If thats the case. You could have a pallet of band-aid's and you'd still be screwed. You cant always go by the entrance wound being the smaller wound. Usually its the case but unless youre a forensic personnel of some sort we won't know. Anyways, being a medic, its not in our job description to make that determination. Its a wound, we put a band=aid on it or some other type of appropriate dressing.
Well, 24 hours later, everything seems to be running okay. I've got my cold air induction in the car. Hopefully I'll get that installed tonight and maybe work on putting the HID's back in, tomorrow night. Then maybe everything will be back to normal!!! Thanks for all the support guys!!! Now I just gotta get another BFG KDW tire so I can get the odd-ball off there. Can stand having that diff brand tire on my car. Heath
Wow and I thought I had it bad, glad to hear things are looking up Cooter. Remember it can't rain every day
